You know what they say about the best laid plans? I’ll be real brief with this update, for reasons that will be self-evident. Last month didn’t quite go the way I wanted, turns out I have several large kidney stones. Been working my way through them over the second half of March, and still dealing with them today. Fortunately I’ve got the backlog of…

Hey pones! Just wanted to share a new story I’ve just launched: Ouroboros! Ouroboros is a Friendship is Optimal story following the two protagonists of my first and only novel in the genre so far, Homebrew. The story follows a concept I’ve always wanted to see explored in the universe: the ways people react to loved ones who did not decide to Emigrate, to…

This state of the scribe will be separated into two parts–the usual updates on the calendar for the upcoming month, then a few thoughts from me about my work here on Fimfiction in general. But we’re getting hit with so many new stories this month that I thought it would be better to put my more general thoughts into its own entry. Expect that…

[Image unavailable: original image] Hey everybody, here with this month’s state of the scribe and some updates on the schedule. I’ll be quick this time, though there’s certainly some exiting stuff happening this month. The first of those things is the ending of Secrets of the Mane 6, a story that’s been with us for almost two years on and off. I never would’ve…

Hey everypony, just wanted to let peeps know that I’ve posted my newest story, Time of Death. It’s a far darker story than I usually write, comissioned by Vilken666 on my patreon. Why not check it out? [Image unavailable: original image]

Well here we are again ponies, it’s always such a pleasure. Part of me wonders how much detail I really need in these when I’m not releasing anything big or new. It’s more of the same this month, so I won’t waste your time with major news. The biggest thing on my end is still sitting in a holding pattern waiting for the artist…

Hey everyone! I know this has been a long time coming, but one of the stories I’ve been updating on my Patreon for well over a year has finally made its way to Fimfiction: https://www.fimfiction.net/story/538586/beyond-the-veil-of-sleep This story began as an exploration of all the amazing things bats were capable of–at least in my own personal view of the tribe. Obviously in the core show…

It’s been another year! I hope everyone survived, I know it was a rough one for me. But here we are at the start of a new one. Hopefully a better one than the year we just left behind. Let’s see what exciting things are waiting for us! First, you’ll notice Together We and Forbidden Places both finished last month, so they’re not listed…

Hey pones, got the update for June coming in! Let’s get right to the exciting stuff! First, Convergence will, Zutcha willing, have its cover in time to finally make its way to fimfiction, so that’s super cool. Not a new story to Patreon, but one I’m proud of nonetheless, so I’m eager to share. No other new stories coming this month, at least not…

Hey pones, forgot about this again, but better late than never! Here’s the repost of my Patreon monthly update, for those curious about what’s going on this month. [Image unavailable: original image] Hey ponies, just another monthly status update! Not as much in terms of new stuff as we move into the near year, so I’ll be a little less verbose. So all the…
