Hey everyone, quick announcement here. Just thought some of you might be interested to know that I’d written another Friendship is Optimal story! The research side of this one consumed more time than I’ve ever spent on one of these, which is why it took me so long to put together. The attentive among you might pick out a few familiar faces among the…

Hey pones, I’ll be brief with this one. Just wanted to make sure everybody knew that we’re doing a hardcover version of Fine Print! The campaign is running now and for the next month. The book will have all the illustrations from the fimfiction edition (over 50!) along with an original short story serving as an extended epilogue for how Tracy and Roseluck have…

Sorry about how weird this one looks. I don’t have my computer right now, so I’m kinda writing this update on my phone. I should be back to having a computer by Saturday hopefully, but in the meantime, I’ll keep this brief. First of all, I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for helping me reach my top goal on Patreon! I…

Hey pones, just wanted to get the word out that a new story is live here on fimfiction! This is another optimalverse story, as the title might suggest, exploring a concept that I’ve never seen touched on in any other optimalverse stories before. What would it be like to use Equestria Online to run your tabletop games? Obviously there’s an extremely tiny group of…

It’s still a little weird to me I have to put years in these. When I switched to writing part time, then full time, I imagined that the change would be over any minute. I’d be going back to some desk to write some stupid new database code or maybe unit tests for something or other. But here we are, no breaks! Most relevant…

Almost packed every single day with stuff this month, holy crap. First, some of you probably had the chance to check out my recent blog entry, where I discuss my desire to make writing full time a long-term career move and the different ways I’ll be trying to give more to my patrons. I’m thrilled and humbled by the outpouring of support I received,…

Hey everyone, just wanted to drop a line and make sure people knew about my newest story, Forbidden Places! Forbidden Places is the story of a group of Urban Explorers. After venturing deep into the Catacombs beneath Paris, they get hopelessly lost like so many before them. But while on the edge of desperation, they discover a way out, a way that leads to…

Hey pones, another one of these for the interested! This lore entry is about the setting for Anemoia, and its complex history and relationship with technology. Anyone who’s interested in Zircon could check it out here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/lore-article-of-46620552 To quickly inform those who might not know, these lore articles were one of the ways I promised to share more with my Patrons this year. For…

Hey pones, this one should be pretty quick. So many of you probably know that I’ve been writing a pokemon TF story for a while now, Mew Like Me. Well, it finished last month, and I promised I would have a complete ebook/pdf for those who wanted to read the whole thing in one go, rather than digging through the awful annoyance of searching…

Hey, so remember when I said I was going to start sharing my lore articles? Here’s the first one from this month. Several stories I’m writing now deal with batponies, which I’ve always interpreted as having a weaker version of the powers that Luna herself manifests in the show. Dreamlands required a detailed breakdown and set of rules for the unconscious world. Forbidden Places…
