Sending a Message

First thing’s first, check out this awesome picture Zutcha did of James! Now maybe people won’t think that she’s a clone of Lightning Dust. I put it into the story too, but that won’t stop any past misunderstandings from having been made.

Holy crap, what a week. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a story get so much attention, paticularly one that had just started. I thought it would be some pet project nobody read, I’d update it once a month, play with my ideas for a hard-science first contact scenerio. Things… didn’t quite go that way. I’m gald I won’t have to wait that long for an ending, either. Once a week is much more fun.

I just wanted to say thanks, thanks for giving the story a chance. I’ve since gone from vague ideas about it to a fully outlined story and notes about the technology and magic that grow more detailed every day. It might take awhile to tell the whole story with as wide as I made the scope, but I promise to make it an entertaining ride.
